Cancellation & Refund Policy

Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Humsafar Tours, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. By confirming a booking with us, travelers agree to the following Booking, Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after the receipt of the required booking amount as specified below. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Humsafar Tours.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

Payment Schedule

  • 35% of the total package cost must be paid at the time of booking as a booking/token amount.
  • An additional 15% of the total package cost must be paid at least 20 days before the tour departure date.
  • Upon receipt of the additional 15% payment, making the total payment received 50% of the package cost, Humsafar Tours will provide hotel confirmation vouchers and proceed with confirmed travel arrangements.
  • The remaining 50% balance amount must be paid in full on Day 1 and Day 2 of the tour.
  • The entire package amount must be cleared before completion of the tour.

Important Payment Terms

  • Bookings will not be considered fully confirmed until the required advance payment has been received.
  • Failure to make payments as per the above schedule may result in cancellation of the booking and release of reservations.
  • Humsafar Tours reserves the right to withhold hotel vouchers, travel documents, transport details, or other confirmations until the required payments have been received.
  • Any delay in payment may impact reservations, availability, or package inclusions.
3. Cancellation by the Traveler
Cancellation Period Before Departure Cancellation Charges
120 – 30 Days Before Travel Date 25% of the Total Tour Cost
30 – 15 Days Before Travel Date 50% of the Total Tour Cost
15 – 07 Days Before Travel Date 75% of the Total Tour Cost
07 – 00 Days Before Travel Date 100% of the Total Tour Cost

The cancellation date shall be considered from the date on which the written cancellation request is received through Humsafar Tours’ official communication channels.

4. Non-Refundable Charges
  • Flight tickets once issued
  • Train tickets as per railway cancellation rules
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance charges
  • Permit fees
  • Entry tickets and activity bookings
  • Processing fees and service charges
  • Any third-party supplier charges already incurred
5. No Show Policy

If a traveler fails to report at the designated departure point, misses transportation, or does not join the tour after confirmation, it shall be considered a No Show.

No refund, transfer, adjustment, or travel credit shall be provided in such cases.

6. Partial Cancellation or Unused Services

No refund shall be provided for:

  • Unused hotel stays
  • Missed sightseeing activities
  • Unused meals
  • Voluntary withdrawal from the tour
  • Early departure from the tour
  • Any service or inclusion not utilized by the traveler
7. Booking Modifications

Requests for date changes, traveler name changes, package modifications, or rescheduling are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

Humsafar Tours does not guarantee that modification requests can be accommodated after booking confirmation.

8. Cancellation by Humsafar Tours

Humsafar Tours reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any tour due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Insufficient participation
  • Natural disasters
  • Landslides
  • Floods
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Political disturbances
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational challenges beyond our control
9. Force Majeure

Humsafar Tours shall not be liable for any refund, compensation, or damages arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10. Refund Processing

Where applicable, approved refunds shall be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of cancellation approval.

Refund timelines may vary depending on banking institutions, payment gateways, and financial service providers.

11. Peak Season & Special Departure Bookings

Bookings made during festivals, public holidays, long weekends, peak tourist seasons, and special events may be subject to stricter cancellation policies and additional supplier-specific terms.

12. Acceptance of Policy

By making a booking with Humsafar Tours, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking, Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.
